Work Story Anon(Author)

Common mistakes that newcomers often make. Don't follow them.

Lately, I've noticed that many newcomers at work keep making the same mistakes, especially when it comes to talking to customers. Some still don't understand the importance of creating a professional persona and may speak or behave inappropriately, which can easily leave a bad impression on guests. Another issue is handling tips; some still don't realize they should share tips with those who assist them. This can impact future work opportunities.

Another important point is the lack of situational awareness. Some don’t know how to adjust their behavior based on the type of guest they’re dealing with. For example, if you feel that a guest is not very interested, you should change your approach. However, many continue to communicate in the same way, missing out on opportunities. This is something newcomers need to be very careful about and should work on improving themselves. Remember, what we do now always has an impact on the future!

555 Some newbies seem like they just left home to face the real world, huh? Sometimes they speak too gently, and their gaze doesn't impress the guests at all, 555. If you ever get a tip, remember to share it with those who help you, okay? Don't forget to share with us too, 555!

I've experienced this too, back when I first started working at Soi 6, during the first week. Sometimes I didn't know how to behave, and I often had customers who weren't impressed. In fact, managing tips is really important too; you need to share a little with the team that helps you out, otherwise they might feel like they're working for nothing, haha.

There was a new girl who really didn't communicate well with the customers, which made them unhappy. Sometimes, just changing your demeanor or speaking politely can make a big difference. Also, tipping is very important; you should share it with everyone who helps you. Otherwise, you might get scolded, haha!

I’ve experienced that too. When I first started, I liked to joke around with customers, and sometimes they would look at me like I was strange, haha. Now I try to create a more professional persona. As for tipping, it’s important to discuss it carefully; otherwise, some people might be unhappy.

Absolutely! Some of the newcomers look like they just stepped out of their homes, haha. We need to teach them about splitting tips easily, right? Otherwise, this event is definitely going to have issues! 😆

Oh, I totally understand! In this case, we need to give a lot of advice, right? Some newcomers might not fully understand how to communicate with customers yet. By the way, has there been any case where a newcomer made a mistake but managed to fix it well?

When talking to customers, we should have techniques to create a good impression, such as smiling and making eye contact. As for tips, I recommend using the Kept app to help distribute tips correctly. This alone can help everyone work better! 😊

I totally agree! Some newcomers really don't have much experience. I was wondering if there's anything you'd like to suggest that we could share? The topic of splitting tips is really important too! 😅

Actually, I really like giving advice on managing tips because it's very important. Try to share tips with the people who help us with our work. If we don't, they might feel bad. Also, try to listen to those with experience, and we will improve! 😄

That's true. Building a personality is very important. Try having them practice speaking with customers or watch videos about customer service; it will really help. And don't forget to share tips with those who assist as well. If they work hard, they deserve a thank you! 😊

I completely agree. Some newcomers might not know how to behave with customers yet, but if it were us, do you have any tips to recommend to them? Also, the issue of sharing tips really does seem important. It helps improve the team as well, right?

We once met a new girl at work in Soi 6 who was just like this. At first, she was shy and didn't communicate well with customers, but after some practice, she improved a lot. The issue of sharing tips is very important; if we help each other work, we need to share. Otherwise, it will upset those who are really helping. 555

Actually, we believe that sharing tips helps build good relationships. I think newcomers should listen to advice from those who have been working for a long time; it can really help a lot 😊. Besides tips, is there anything else you would like to recommend?

We've seen new members do this too, especially when it comes to talking with customers. Sometimes they speak without thinking and get the details wrong, which leaves a bad impression on the guests. I recommend finding a senior friend to help teach you so you don't keep making the same mistakes. 😊

That's true! Dividing tips is very important. We need to discuss it clearly. If the new members have any questions, feel free to ask. There might be ways to make the work easier too! 😊

Hmm, that's very true. Newcomers should look at the work of experienced people first. And the tip-sharing is also very important. It's best to say that it should be divided according to the size of the work or the people who actually helped, as it will make everyone happy. 😊

It's true! Some newcomers seem like they've just stepped out of their homes, haha. They still lack personality, and they even forget to tip those who help them. I can tell you that just following the seniors' lead will make a big difference!
